How to Successfully Adapt Governance Over Six Generations – A Case Study

You can hire somebody to run the business, but you can’t hire someone to run the family – that’s your job.

Christopher Oughtred should know. As the former G5 Chair of the UK’s William Jackson Food Group, he has helped to steer the family and the business through not one, but two generational transitions. Whether dealing with family tensions, poor communication between the generations, lack of engagement among new shareholders, Christopher, and his family have created solutions that have reconciled continuity with necessary change.

Join Christopher and family business advisor Peter Leach for this interactive workshop to explore the challenges and opportunities that families in business must navigate in every generation to adapt their governance, decision-making, and communication if they are to grow in strength and success into the future
